About Eponine

My name is Eponine Garrod, and I am running for U.S. House of Representatives in 2018.  I am a young female scientist and a progressive democrat.  I truly believe that people power is greater than money power, and I’m ready to bring common sense and honesty back to Michigan’s 6th District seat.  Please follow my journey here and on social media.  Let’s take back our government… together.

HI this is Gordon Evans from WMUK Radio, I am looking for the correct pronunciation for your first and last name. If it’s easier, call my office number – 269-387-3157.

    Thanks

Thank you for running Eponine… FOR … US! A-a-a-and … you’re a Scientist? Someone who learns and makes decisions using … Facts? Not the Alternative ones though … right? Real facts that can be referenced and shared with People who prefer to learn and share Facts, too? And records are kept of the Facts and made Public?
    Knowledge!, Transparency!, and Accountability! … what a Concept! … and … that’s a Fact!
(Please note that I want very much to contribute to your campaign but, because of problems with ActBlue, I don’t trust that method – if you prefer not to have to deal with checks and can assure me that ActBlue will get the money to your campaign, please let me know – oh, btw, we’re not talking about that much $ ’cause I’m a retired IBEW/CWA Communications Tech.)

      Hello Victor!

I apologize for taking a while to get back to you. I’m glad for the wonderful enthusiasm and support! We are and will continue to be transparent and use the actual facts as you mention to form our thoughts and ideas. It is of utmost important, especially in this time of words being thrown around with little regard to actual sources.

In regards to donations, checks can be sent to our campaign office at

      2141 Benton Ave.
      Kalamazoo, MI 49008

Another option we have available in addition to checks and ActBlue is our Crowdpac.

      Thank you!

      Hi Paul,

The election is in November 2018 with the primaries in August 2018 – both of which I will be 25 in time for. You are absolutely correct that I will still be 24 come November 2017 – we are just rolling up our sleeves to get to work early because we believe that’s the kind of dedication our politicians should be giving us. My birthday is July 29 which will mean I meet the age requirement as documented in the United States Constitution. Thank you for your question and for fact checking!

Hi Eponine. Fantastic presentation today with Saug Mandate crew. Member of Holland Indivisible was attending too. So how cool is that? Given all the things that fire your jets, I though you might like to see my sweetie’s latest post, which he started making weekly when Trump took office. Hope it makes you smile:

      Hi Julie,

Thank you so much for sharing! You are absolutely right on the importance of art like this and so cool to have it come from your family. To put all of our faith in science and leave no space for art is a grave mistake. Thank you for the share!

I love your policy platform, but what are some major differences in regards to you and David Benac?
